If Tyler allows his wife to buy a horse... look what she did with that expensive pig. The stable man told her a horse is a lot of responsibility how about we try taking care of her daughter first. Tyler will be divorcing her soon. He looks like he tired of her. I hope he opens his eyes and realize he doesn't owe her anything, he's allowed to be happy too and he looks far from being happy.
If Tyler allows her...? It's her money too. Cate is delusional and a very sad case, but she "makes" her own money, just as Tyler does. Tyler would never divorce her because he'll never find another girl who'd put up with all HIS shit. Cate gives him exactly what he wants--undying affection and obedience.
Cate is a wreck, but it's not like Tyler is some great prize. He doesn't do anything with his time.
The term "allows" is used a bit loose. I agree on this one for sure. Because as a married couple from what I see from my parents (ok I'm only 15 but) it is or should be a joint decision in a healthy marriage. it doesn't matter whose money when you're married it should be a joint decision. Unless I'm totally wrong. Sometimes I do watch the show just to see how situations are handled and I have to do this as part of school work to but... I think the person was trying to say - that because he's more mentally together than she is he knows the expense of taking care of a horse and the stress she will most likely go through just like with the pig. I did write one of the teen moms for advice via... as part of my homework but the advice was trash my teacher just shook her head. And what she told the class was going to happen actually happened the show ended up being something totally different from what it was intended to be which was to teach us teens the difficulties we would face from make poor choices as far as relationships, sex, and keeping secrets from your parents. It's just sad because the show when our health teacher first showed the episodes of 16 and pregnant in September it made me and my friends so scared and I didn't want to ever have sex and now it's like whatever if their parents are cool with it eventually other parents outside of tv world will get over it so… yea my friends and I made a pact to keep our virginity until we turn at least 16. Not one kept that promise none are virgins. Like they are stupidly having unprotected sex. Their moms don't even know they take BCP's. I'm still thinking like how these moms don't know anything. I'm the only one left that's crazyyyyyy though like wowwww. Off the topic but damnnn they are all dumb. I'm glad I can talk to my mom about this stuff. Yea I be lying about stuff but one thing I will never lie to my mother about is Sex because at the end of the day my mothers like the secret spy like she finds out everything even if I'm lying she knows me. So I kind of don't understand why my teacher got us posting on this thing because at the end of the day this show isn't positive if anything it just shows me how teens I once felt sorry for disrespect their parents, drink, party, smoke(which I did try after seeing how relaxed Cat looked). I can't blame it all on Cat because I'm the one who put the things to my mouth but… I'm tired of my friends keep telln me -girl you don't know what you're missing. In my head I be like girls I know what I don't want sh*t. I don't want no crying *ss baby I don't ever want kids. I want to own my own house by the time I'm 21 I want to have my house paid off by the time I'm 45 and I want to be retired by the time I am whatever the youngest age I can retire. I hear my mom say this all of the timesince I was like 7 years old ? she's only 35. My moms be OD sometime like damn let me breathe ugh. I told my teacher I'm not participating in this thing anymore. It's stupid. If we gonna comment on somebody life that we don't even know only through tv I my as well put my crap out there too. It's only right though so.
