Maybe they wanted to spare the only other child they had from jail time. People don’t think clearly in times of stress and sudden death. Burke had swung a golf club at JonBenet in the past. It’s possible they are fighting over the pineapple or Christmas toys or something and the brother whacked her over the head and she was unresponsive or dead before he informed his parents[/quote]
