His website says he got married in 2018, but does it really matter whether he's a "new" parent or not? Or, for that matter, whether he's "just a stepdad" (which is kind of what seems implied here)?  He is a stepparent to kids in Swanson and Yorktown, so I think that counts, and it looks like he's been involved with Arlington kids for a long time. My husband is a stepfather and he's a much better dad to my children than their biological father is.  But I also don't think that being childless should disqualify you from serious consideration for SB, so maybe I'm not the norm.[/quote]

I don't think being a stepdad or not having kids at all should be disqualifying, but I think Terron's involvement has been unimpressive; I don't know if things are better now that he's seeing things close up. But people who have worked with him on various committees say he's all show. And his comments on AEM are definitely all "I did it so anyone can!" which is not how reality works. I want someone who says, "I did it and and I want the same opportunities for people who don't have my advantages."[/quote]
