People who HAVE secure relationships DON’T need social media “hoopla”. You don’t need the external validation. I find it odd when adults do this, first Brandon and now Jen? You aren’t a teenager. I get maybe a simple sentence or statement but this is so far over the top, feels desperate and like she’s defending his douchehood.

I think the issue is she's never dated before and is ultimately the equivalent of a 19 year old. Everything is novel, and anything Tyler does that Brandon didn't do is amazing. And she's an extremely online person, so everyone must know!

Her relationship with Tyler serves the purpose of getting her feet wet, showing that she can love again. Him living in a different city makes it kind of a comfortable "relationship lite." Time will tell how long it lasts before she wants more.[/quote]
