In the DC / MD / VA region, over the past three years:

* Capital Blue has sent 25 players to top 20 programs and 8 to ivies

* M&D Black has sent 18 players to top 20 programs and 2 to ivies

* Hero’s Green has sent 13 players to top 20 programs and 4 to ivies

* Coppermine has sent 0 players to top 20 programs and 0 players to ivies

Some players overlap both categories. Stats above and raw data (below) taken from what's available on Inside Lacrosse. Commits to ivies and top 20 programs were highlighted since players either choose strong academics or strong lacrosse schools. (Obviously there are many great academics represented; to avoid subjective interpretation of a strong academic school I differentiated top 20 v ivies only.)

No one doubts Capital’s success in the past and with ‘26 in particular. ‘27 and ‘28 look bleak at best. ‘29 may be even worse as M&D DC is a legit challenger. Parents, even Capital parents, are growing tired of the “my way or the highway” attitude from Capital. [/quote]
