These protests occurred in 2023 two months before 10/7 and I genuinely believe Hamas  10/7 because they realized their time was running out in Gaza. There were so many times in the past decade that Hamas was almost eradicated, 2008 by Ehud Barak, 2014/2015 by Egypt (Netanyahu  told Sisi to stop destroying Hamas tunnels when Egypt was terrified of a muslim brotherhood coup/takeover), 2018 by Qatar (Hamas  were on the verge of getting  kicked out of Doha due to their relations with Iran, Netanyahu convinced Qatar to keep them there), 2019 by Gazans (mass anti Hamas economic protests occurred, Netanyahu responds by giving thousands of Gazans work visas to Israel helping his frenemy Hamas stay in power), 2023 (idf generals and Mossad chiefs beg Netanyahu to do an immediate ground war in Gaza and to obtain all hostages, he goes to Lebanon instead on 10/9 and doesn’t put boots on the ground till mid November).
