How is this any difference than Gaza? Moving them from east to west is supposed to the grand save? Really?
How about kicking Netanyahu out of power so Hamas’s sugar daddy is no longer in charge?
If they are moved to Jordan, Jordan will turn from a puppet state of Israel in to a majority Palestinian state. The West Bank will be annexed by the new Jordan. This is the best chance of a Palestinian state in 100 years.
Jordan is too close.
The best chance for a Palestinian state is in an alternative universe.
You do not get to decide. You have to pay us back for the billions we have lent you. Oh and how about publicly thanks the US? I have never seen anyone from the Israeli government ever thank the US.
Neither do you. The IDF is deciding for you, as partial payment for nearly a century of terror.
And where is all the Palestinian gratitude to the U.S. and the U.N. for their billions in aid? I suppose it's evident in good deeds, if not words? Deeds like the construction of subterranean military facilities nice new uniforms and green headbands, stages on which to parade hostages, and weapons used against their neighbor? Gratitude indeed.
And what about the almost a century of terror -- including massacres, rapes, throwing children into ovens, torture, unlawful detention, brutal eviction, and land/property theft -- that Israel has perpetrated against Palestinians for nearly a century?
Let's face it, the fundamental goal of Zionism is genocide for the sake of land theft. Zionists lust after other people's land and will steal it by any means necessary, including murder and displacement. In the eyes of most Zionists, Palestinians are at best an inconvenience to be erased and at worst an outlet for sadism. Why would you be surprised when Palestinians occasionally fight back? The Zionist cause is racist, murderous, and supremely narcissistic. Zionism is a sick cult that requires extreme religious fundamentalism, an extraordinarily selfish degree of ethnocentricity, and a sociopathic disregard for the rights, needs, and humanity of "the other." It's a stain on humanity that such a murderous cult exists in the 21st century.
The evil and selfishness of Zionism is illustrated by the bloodlust and callousness some of its proponents exhibit in this forum. It's quite sickening to read the racism and psychopathy on display against Palestinian people.
So many opinions.
Not a shred of proof.
All hallmarks of a paid Ham-A$$ troll from Gaza troll farm.
Normal people should not engage.
Israel was established by terrorists committing terrorism to achieve their aims. The historical record is irrefutable. You will never outrun those facts.
As for mention “normal people” … wow, are you just about the least self-aware individual imaginable or what?!
it must be interesting inside your head, a place where the violent armed rejection of an Arab state by the Arabs in 1948 leads logically to terrorism forever after against the Jewish state created at the same time, so that there can some day be a separate Arab state for the Gazans. Doesn't make any sense, but to realize that you have to appreciate the irony of Palestinian behavior. "Let's engage in unspeakable terror on Oct 7, that'll get us our own country in all of what is now Israel! What could go wrong!" 40,000 dead Palestinians later, "That didn't go too well, did it?"
Get real.
If Jews came To American and wanted half of the land from Americans, would you agree?
Depends, has America been the ancestral home of Jews since 2,000 BCE? Have Jews been repeatedly violently forced out of America despite this fact? Starting with the Babylonians, Romans, British, and most recently the Palestinians?
why have they always been forced out?
Because God loves them more than others apparently
Antisemitism in a nutshell right here

In Gaza today, thousands of Palestinians protested against Hamas and calling for the end of the war.

Looks to be instigated via social media by the PLO. The avg college protestor would be shocked to know that the PLO and Hamas hate each other even more than they hate Israel. You could wipe Israel off the map tomorrow and there still wouldn't be a Palestinian state and the resulting civil war would make the last 18 months in Gaza look pleasant.

Seems like the definitive last word on the subject.
How are the Palestinians the losers if they (at least Hamas) don’t care about dying?
I genuinely think the Crusades is a big harbinger of Israel’s future fate (particularly the bankruptcy it caused the Roman Empire). Despite all the death, Islam still dominates the Holy Land and Catholicism utterly failed even among Palestinian or lebanese Christians to make a mark.
Yes, Judaism isn’t on a crusade but they have an even weirder/stranger scenario because they plan to live there permanently in a majority Muslim region. By mistreating Palestinian, they will have to live in permawar and hypervigilence and who wants to live like that? First it was Egypt in the 70s then it was Lebanon in the 80s then it was Saddam, now it’s Iran they have a problem with and tomorrow it’ll be someone else. The wars of attrition are needed for their survival but aren’t working to weaken the Muslim armies who change by name by the year.
This isn’t sustainable for our empire financially or theirs.
Pragmatic solutions are needed
The pragmatic solution is obvious. Egypt, Jordan, and Syria are living peacefully enough alongside Israel, post the Six-Day War of 1967 and the Yom Kippur War of 1973. Those conflicts demonstrated that the Arab world cannot defeat Israel in open warfare, and none of those countries has tried again. The Camp David Accords of 1978 resulted in peace with Egypt, and Jordan signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1994. Syria is in internal turmoil, but has left Israel alone since 1973. Those have been pragmatic resolutions to the conflicts between those countries and Israel. The losing sides gave up claims to the territory they lost as the result of their belligerence and have existed peacefully alongside Israel ever since. The Palestinians can do the same thing - give up fighting, relinquish the territory they held and used to launch their aggression on Oct 7, and go about their business somewhere else. Yemen, Sudan, anywhere without a border with Israel. That's the blueprint for peace.
You state that Israel has left Syria alone since 1973. Yet Israel has not left Syria alone.
They have bombed Syria repeatedly, destroying their self defense, navy, and military infrastructure. They have invaded Syria and are currently occupying huge areas of the country. Israel has stated these are not temporary incursions and they plan to stay in Syria.
I guess that’s what you consider existing peacefully alongside Israel. They can invade, occupy, and bomb at will and the other country should just shut up and not complain because the bombing and occupying could be worse.
Great blueprint for peace you have there.
And Syria remains behind their borders, and will continue to do so by force or Israeli arms. That has been necessary due to the Syrian civil war, support for Hezbollah, and the presence of Iranian military elements. We'll have to wait and see what happens post-Assad, but it seems reasonable that Israel enforce the demilitarization of southern Syria, to prevent repeats of prior Syrian belligerence against Israel, fomented by Iran under the Assad regime. It's working. That's pragmatic. The Syrians are staying on their side of the border. They know that do resume hostilities will end badly for them. Pragmatic, indeed.
DP Well, you can be humdrum about Israel repeatedly violating international law, and continue to spew revisionist history - but the only thing that really matters is that empires inevitably fall and people like you only serve to increase the ranks of those eagerly awaiting Israel’s comeuppance.
If history is a guide, you'll be waiting a very long time.
