How are the Palestinians the losers if they (at least Hamas) don’t care about dying?

I genuinely think the Crusades is a big harbinger of Israel’s future fate (particularly the bankruptcy it caused the Roman Empire). Despite all the death, Islam still dominates the Holy Land and Catholicism utterly failed even among Palestinian or lebanese Christians  to make a mark.

Yes, Judaism isn’t on a crusade but they have an even weirder/stranger scenario because they plan to live there permanently in a majority Muslim region. By mistreating Palestinian, they will have to live in permawar and hypervigilence and who wants to live like that? First it was Egypt in the 70s then it was Lebanon  in the 80s then it was Saddam, now it’s  Iran they have a problem with and tomorrow it’ll be someone else. The wars of attrition are needed for their survival  but aren’t working to weaken the Muslim armies who change by name by the year.

This isn’t sustainable for our empire financially or theirs.

The pragmatic solution is obvious.  Egypt, Jordan, and Syria are living peacefully enough alongside Israel, post the Six-Day War of 1967 and the Yom Kippur War of 1973. Those conflicts demonstrated that the Arab world cannot defeat Israel in open warfare, and none of those countries has tried again.  The Camp David Accords of 1978 resulted in peace with Egypt, and Jordan signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1994.  Syria is in internal turmoil, but has left Israel alone since 1973.  Those have been pragmatic resolutions to the conflicts between those countries and Israel.  The losing sides gave up claims to the territory they lost as the result of their belligerence and have existed peacefully alongside Israel ever since.  The Palestinians can do the same thing - give up fighting, relinquish the territory they held and used to launch their aggression on Oct 7, and go about their business somewhere else.  Yemen, Sudan, anywhere without a border with Israel.  That's the blueprint for peace.  [/quote]

You state that Israel has left Syria alone since 1973. Yet Israel has not left Syria alone.

They have bombed Syria repeatedly, destroying their self defense, navy, and military infrastructure. They have invaded Syria and are currently occupying huge areas of the country. Israel has stated these are not temporary incursions and they plan to stay in Syria.

I guess that’s what you consider existing peacefully alongside Israel. They can invade, occupy, and bomb at will and the other country should just shut up and not complain because the bombing and occupying could be worse.

And Syria remains behind their borders, and will continue to do so by force or Israeli arms.  That has been necessary due to the Syrian civil war, support for Hezbollah, and the presence of Iranian military elements.  We'll have to wait and see what happens post-Assad, but it seems reasonable that Israel enforce the demilitarization of southern Syria, to prevent repeats of prior Syrian belligerence against Israel, fomented by Iran under the Assad regime.  It's working.  That's pragmatic.  The Syrians are staying on their side of the border.  They know that do resume hostilities will end badly for them.  Pragmatic, indeed.
