I thought it was interesting how they were encouraging playing for one of their feeder teams to be “seen”.  Do they mostly recruit from PWSI and VSA?  So many stronger teams to choose from in the DMV, why would they dismiss those players?[/quote]

What i generally noticed in the past, is they pick the strongest external players without much regard to those partnerships.  Having 'feeder clubs' just ensures they get to look at kids from a few different clubs.  Those clubs do serve as a funnel for their tryouts.  But, if someone who comes from a stronger team comes along, they would take them over a weaker club affiliate player.   [/quote]

Also, kids had to submit highlight clips, etc. Several of the kids who made the team have nothing to do with HP. [/quote]
