A very isolated institution where none of the staff have realized that there is a massive search going on for her and thought to mention to the police that they have a patient matching the description. Or I guess she has enlisted them in her conspiracy of silence. Oh, and they also apparently offer free services.

Correct, in response to an officers request. They’d need to know she is there. It is 100% possible she checked herself in somewhere and no one knows. Not probable, but is possible. [/quote]
