Riiiiight.  If the idea of sending these immigrants to sanctuary cities had come from the Democrats, you’d be falling all over yourselves to show your approval. This is exactly it.  The detention centers are full - and apparently dangerous, based on what we've read, correct?  So it's best to process them quickly and get them settled somewhere.

California is the best option, as it's large enough to absorb more people.  Add to that its liberal outlook, and it is indeed a win-win.

Granted there's probably more space for them there, but since they're not as "urban" as the coasts, there are not enough social programs to assist them.
