To assume anyone would do this to avoid dieting, to become part of the unpaid workforce (seriously?????!), or to get attention is ignorant and insulting. When i had three kids under four i would have been shocked to know that people thought of me as lazy or that i had some motive for having kids other than wanting kids. Also i didn't really enjoy the attention from being pregnant - it was awkward for me. I can't help thinking the pp's above are hateful assholes. But i shouldn't be so quick to judge - maybe they are just suffering from stupidity. [/quote]
