Here's the academic sequence for students at Raisbeck Aviation HS near Seattle.  The school has slightly over 400 students, so it is feasible to have such a program in a building that's built for fewer students than a typical FCPS high school.

You people sure do like getting worked up about things.  
You don’t need to go all the way to Seattle for an aviation academy.  In fact there’s one in Maryland literally right across the street from NASA:

It would be a magnet program to attract some additional kids to the school and give some kids an on ramp to interesting advanced stem classes.  It’s not some destructive crazy idea.
