I am outside of the DC , though not a swing state the population is very similar to those in swing states.
No she's not moderate by measures outside of the Democratic party or rather a faction of the Democratic party.
Unfortunately  it's more than the democratic,/ liberal/ progressive base that needs to be energized and vote for her.
Neither party wins by just appealing to the extremes 
They have to draw in the middle particular those in swing states.
As of this moment I don't think that does that for Harris.
However I could be wrong about the temperature of things. 
We'll see in November.
