People should want to protect the most innocent among us....children. Republicans weren't focused on this at all until Democrats decided to push this gender ideology onto kids and celebrate 6 year olds transitioning. I agree it is a minor issue compared to other things facing our country, but when children are potentially getting harmed we need to stand up against it not celebrate it.

By getting shot in schools or in their neighborhoods. By having their libraries turned into political theater with books restricted and purged. By being told they can't learn the real, complicated story of American history if it involves white people doing bad things. Republicans don't want to help with food insecurity, lack of health care, or gun violence. They do want to double down on preventing libraries from being beacons of free expression and narrowing history lessons that public schools are allowed to teach.
