Chansley pled on Sept. 1 - so what you are saying is that they gave him exculpatory information AFTER he pled guilty.

And, his new defense counsel has huge issues with his original defense.  That is part of the problem.  Incompetent counsel.

Doesn't change the fact that Chansley's counsel had access to the video.   Doesn't change the fact that Tucker Carlson is dishonestly only showing 4 minutes of video and not showing for example where Chansley refused to be escorted out.
