I think that's BS.  If that were so, I can't imagine him not saying anything about it.  Certainly returning to football is a full time endeavor and unsure how he could justify that to his kids if they really are losing their mom full-time in a divorce from him.

I can't imagine he's that stupid to play the fall guy in the court of public opinion and let her slide to divorce while everyone is going to gang up on him making the decision to return to football.

I do wonder what will become of both of them?  I mean, they are both beautiful, successful, rich people who actually don't need anyone else - the hardest thing is for these people to actually find true love.  I think they probably really did love each other - they made it work over a number of years after all or was it always her that did all the work?
