I hear what your husband is saying but as a counterpoint I had the worst throat ache I’ve ever had in my life a few weeks ago.  Lost my voice, body aches and chills, coughing, just awful.  I was sure I had Covid and got two pcr tests spread out over a few days and rapid tested every day.  It wasn’t Covid.  [/quote]

My husband had this and didn’t get a positive test till after symptoms resolved. His doctor said he had several patients with the same issue. [/quote]

What's happening with breakthrough infections in vaxed people is that the symptoms which appear so quickly are your immune system mounting a response, not a reflection of your infectiousness.
