Despite the one blowout, the 09s still played close games to some of the very best ECNL teams. Looking at PDA's record, VDA also lost 2-0 at the same tournament to PDA Blue, but hey you know, FCV players aren't good enough for them either.

I won't post 06/05s because most of them will be graduating and aren't part of the conversation. But in case you were wondering, they have a winning record against ECNL Playoff teams.

If an ECNL team is playing FCV unless its at Jeff Cup, do any of these showcases games, pre/post season tournament results even matter? Good effort with all this data, I think you have some scrimmages included in there too very thorough attaboy... I hope the 1-2 FCV girls my DD team adds is a good fit and they are patient for playing time cause its a different league no matter what anyone says[/quote]

Contrary to what may say, when it comes to recruiting and showcases, coaches don't care about the match outcome.  They're typically not coming to see the entire team, they're focused on certain players that they've connected with and are interested in and how they play.  They're there observing those players in how they warm up, interact with teammates, how they are on the sidelines if they're coming off the bench, how they act when coming off the field and onto the bench, etc.[/quote]
