Again, House Resolution 503 called for Pelosi to nominate Republicans after consultation with the minority leader. “Consultation” doesn't mean “agreement” or “approval.” It just means Pelosi had to discuss it with McCarthy, which she did. And there are Republicans on the committee. Fewer than called for by the resolution, but the committee is also smaller than the resolution called for and the ratio of Democrats to Republicans is similar. Get a better argument.[/quote]
