How did Kate get so fat?  As a teen, she looks like she could just lose 15 or so pounds and be at a normal weight.  Do we think she gained so much becuase of Jack's death?  [/quote]

[u]Kate as a teen didn't need to lose 15 pounds.[/u][/b] She fit into a size 7 dress and she used layers and her hair to hide her body changes from the drastic dieting. I think Kate went from an eating disorder/body dysmorphia to compulsive eating when Jack died.[/quote]
