+1. Not even sure I can watch the next episode.

The one thing I kept thinking during Kate’s recording of her audition:
‘Oh no, her tape is going to burn too. She wont be able to make a new one / won’t have the courage to record again; and this is why she didn’t go further in music.’
It made me think of the times we hold ourselves back, even after tragedy when we can’t move forward. I think jack (and the people we lose) don’t want us to mourn them to our own detriment. I wish Kate could see what her dad would want for her.

Kevin's last interaction with his Dad was a fight and he's held on to that his entire adulthood
Kate maybe starts to see herself the way her dad does and maybe his on the path to working out her body issues...and that stops dead in its track with his death (I loved the scene where Kate is watching the video of herself and instead of focusing on how she looks, she notices her dad looks watching her).
Randall just being Randall - but a sweet moment with him telling Jack that he and his gf finally kissed.
How did Kate get so fat? As a teen, she looks like she could just lose 15 or so pounds and be at a normal weight. Do we think she gained so much becuase of Jack's death?

I'm glad Kate went back to get Audio the dog.

And my father was a NYC firefighter, and the next show is my nightmare. I have always been TERRIFIED of fire - I can't even light a match.

My prediction is that Jack goes back for Kate's dog. How terrible for her.
