There are far too many, being paid far too much, within, and for, government agencies. The system is out of whack when compared to the real world. Holding the golden ticket, security clearance, is almost a license to print money in some cases. And one of the big problems with all of this is how cumbersome that clearance process is and how it causes an unreal competition for employees who have one. That drives up the compensation costs and slows down progress as people leave one contract for another. If I had to pick one aspect that I feel was the worst it would be government contractors and contracts. [/quote]
