No.  I'm well aware that I don't need to keep a conversation going nonstop and lulls are okay.  But some people are so horrible at holding conversations that one has to go with asking questions.  Usually the person you're speaking with is self centered and doesn't ask questions in return or know how the flow of a conversation should go.  [/quote]

Sometimes you're forced to talk to someone like at a dinner party or social event.  Clearly I wouldn't choose to stay and talk to someone like this if going on a walk or doing anything else were an option. [/quote]
