No. I'm well aware that I don't need to keep a conversation going nonstop and lulls are okay. But some people are so horrible at holding conversations that one has to go with asking questions. Usually the person you're speaking with is self centered and doesn't ask questions in return or know how the flow of a conversation should go.
Then maybe just stop talking to them and go read a book, or take a walk. Or take the hint.
