Wow. The air conditioner was a very reasonable suggestion and I was trying to be helpful, having been in your situation (pregnant, small child, no husband, derecho, miserable). But now I agree: you sound really high maintenance, and frankly a little bitchy. Eat some protein before you interact with your child, for her sake. Then go check into the Ritz and be done with it.[/quote]

Actually, telling a pregnant woman with a 4 year old in tow to go out and buy and then install an an air conditioner ( that probably weighs 50 lbs) is pretty stupid advice. That would probably take an hour. In 30 minutes, she could be at her Mom's house. Eat some protein before you give moronic advice.[/quote]
