Apparently, Netflix just shops out pictures and picks those that get the most "picks" from its users. The "picks" meaning that the Netflix suscriber chooses to watch that show. Someone familiar with the technicalities of it all wrote in and explained that pictures of males actually get more "picks" than pictures of females. That's why Jess's photo is currently representing the show on Netflix --it has nothing to do with the upcoming new episodes. That said, you could be absolutely right about her ending up with him.
