Notice that when a man marries a young hot 20 something, he never gets vilified. It's always the girl who is the vicious, scheming gold digger!
It's the same concept when a guy wants to marry a hot/attractive woman. No one thinks there's anything wrong with that. What's the difference?
The difference is the appreciation of beauty is seen as human nature whereas the worship of material wealth is seen as a less than admirable trait.
The difference is that the guy is viewed as being stupidly in "love" and unaware that he is marrying a golddigger, whereas the golddigger is very aware of the situation. So while the guy isn't vilified, he is perceived as an idiot.
They're not idiots they know exactly what they are getting and they have many choices . They typically pick someone pretty, well dressed, flexible, someone who gives him positive attention and typically she has some kind of job - teacher or nurse - and a college education. He gets someone to have as many kids as he wants and someone to care for them rather than day care of a nanny. She gets lots of nice vacations, endless kid duties and plenty of yoga pants. Perhaps a hut at Martha's Vineyard. Does anyone else run in these circles? Have you noticed how these type of gals from the DC area all have DD's that look like they're wearing lingerie every time they're not in some kind of school uniform? You know like really slutty short plunging dresses, smiling for the family portraits on the vacations? That or white pants and Lily Pulitzer? No thanks..
+ a million. It's an equal transaction, he basically wants an incubator + nanny. Anyway, people marry each other for all sorts of f*cked up reasons. Money would be one of the more down-to-earth ones.
