A year or so ago, they were drowning and were about to lose their house. My BF helped out a lot then. These days he doesn't do much since they seem to be doing better. As far as I know his dad is still working. I'm just a little concerned because it appears that they have no savings for retirement. And if there is an emergency he would definitely have to help out.
