But you are assuming here that redshirting actually does give children an advantage.

Maybe the people who are saying "redshirting should be banned because it gives redshirted children an unfair advantage!" are different from the people who are saying "redshirting should be banned because it puts redshirted children at a disadvantage!", because it is certainly not logical to say that redshirted children have an unfair advantage AND AT THE SAME TIME are also at a disadvantage.[/quote]
