My kids don't watch much TV and I used to have a strict policy where their TV needed to be wholesome and educational.  I figured I ought to take a break from BBC Planet Earth because they became a little too talkative about some of the animal, ahem, snuff scenes at school.  Nature TV is great but perhaps I will resume it during their TV time when they are a little older.  At this time it is on the back burner until they stop offhandedly describing to the other four year olds precisely how lions hunt elephants down.

Also, my two year old knows who Elmo is from his daycare apparently because I hate Sesame Street with a red hot passion.  Always have, even as a kid.  It has never been on in our house and we have no Elmo stuff.  But he is speech delayed and one of the few words he can reliably say is "Elmo" when he sees Elmo somewhere.  Smh.  They pick these things up.[/quote]
