The possibilities are NOT endless. If you have to fill 8 hours with a 6 year old in 100 degree heat.  If you've been there you'd know that walks on a beach under a burning sun in 95+ degrees are not fun.  Staying in the house defeats the purpose of traveling.

I'm the PP the OP was responding to and that was my exact response when I read this. On a [b]family[/b] vacation where there is apparently nothing more to do than swim and enjoy the ambient nature (but definitely don't actually DO anything to engage with nature), she has better things to do than spend time with her kid. Yikes  :shock:

OP, the possibilities ARE endless, you either lack the imagination to see that or just don't want to go on this vacation and you want the kid's arm to use as an excuse. So does this mean you'd also be forfeiting the airfare to FL, too? [/quote]
