So there's been a lot of talk about wooden letters, but what about decals like this:
I like it.
I like it too.
It's ok. I honestly think some of the perception of these posted decals has to do with the name itself, at least as far as DCUM goes. A 'classy' name like Nathan will get a better response than if that decal said "Brayden."
I'm 35 weeks and we just put up a decal similar to this one (we are pretty set on the name and have already told our family). It's the main focal point of the room and I have tried to use a lot of neutrals/soothing main color, solid color bedding, and hidden storage to keep the room from getting too cluttered and busy. As a PP noted though, in real life people's homes do tend to end up with some toys and such scattered about. That is okay with me because I'm not trying to live in a catalogue. I'm bringing an actual little person home and the way we have his room decorated makes me happy! And I'm not a redneck or teen mom :) If you are going to keep the name secret or may end up changing it, I'd probably hold off on putting the decal up though.
