There's a massive difference between a parent who's home and available if the kids need something and child neglect which would be leaving kids in this range home alone while the parents went in to work and were not available to the kids. We do exactly what you posted above, have since around the same age as your kids, and I suspect that's the norm for most families.[/quote]
