13:35 here again. Actually, [b]it is the official statement of many Christian denominations that state Mormonism is not Christian[/b]. I don't have time to provide links, but if this PP is truly interested in the study of religion and not just picking a fight, then I suggest you call up a few mainstream churches. Southern Baptist, United Methodist, Luthern (ELCA and MS), Presbyterian, Catholic.

I don't doubt that other churches  don't accept mormons are Christian -- some feel that way about Catholicism as well.  But that's their opinion, there is nothing "official" about it.[/quote]
