Why do you assume that the only way to increase the supply of not-ridiculously-expensive housing in wealthy neighborhoods is to force developers to build "low-income housing projects"? How about allowing developers to build multi-family housing (including apartment and condo buildings) in wealthy neighborhoods? [b]How about allowing homeowners in wealthy neighborhoods, as well as non-wealthy neighborhoods, to create and rent out accessory apartments[/b]?[/quote]
