The only person I've ever really argued with is my DH, and he is incredibly cruel and says horrible things to me and calls me names. I hate it, my family never talked to each other like that. I have "non-confrontational personality" according the the therapist I've seen. When my husband yells at me and calls me names, I just clam up and don't engage. Every time it happens, I think to myself, I'm going to stand up for myself next time, but then when it happens, I just can't do it. [/quote]
