Having foreigners own our assets is probably one of the best ways possible to protect our country from foreign attack. China has much less of an appetite to bomb us when they make so much money off their investments in our national debt and real estate, for example. Other positive implications of foreigners buying our assets is that it helps U.S. sellers get top-dollar for their assets, and it brings new ideas and wealthy contributors to our economy.[/quote]
