17:28, you sounds like an idiot and write like a 5th grader. There's a vote for QO.
Do you really have to resort to ad hominems? He has a point you know. I'll quote for convenience.
To the people writing shit about wootton: have you ever attended school there or taught there? Thats probably a no. You might think wootton is selfish and only care about their own grade. You make QO seem like a heaven compared to wootton. I think you all know we encourage each other an guess what? Even asians do it. And you know why i know that? Because im freaking asian. At sports events such as track you have a close and tight knit family. We cheer and try to motivate those who seem like they are out of breath. Same with academics. We help each other with hw and have massive ap study groups. Honostley the asians at wootton arent all as die hard competitve as you may think...a lot of them are well respected and are often class clowns. Only few obsess constantly over the last percent (dif b/t 96 and 97)
At Wootton, academics is treated as something like a sport. This isn't inherently a bad thing. Most people on this thread make Wootton sound like some kind of hellhole run by an Inquisition that will track down anyone not in the top 5% and torture them until their grades go up. There might be a grain of truth in that (if it's anything like Churchill, where I have just graduated from, then yes, there is some stiff competition), but making it out as a hellhole? Give me a break. I would trust the guy who goes to Wootton over any disgruntled parents making up hyperbole just to support some thinly veiled ulterior motive (racism, for example; "Wootton is filled with those damn asians!" is a pretty terrible reason to dislike to school).
