[/quote] If you have a strong preference for a particular combination of skin color, hair color/texture, and facial features, you should date what you prefer unless you find someone outside your preference who knocks you off your feet. If you lined up 20 guys of different races and ethnicities in front of me and said pick 10 based just on appearance, I'd automatically eliminate any guy under 5'10 (by measurement, not his claim). The next elimination would be blonds and redheads because I prefer dark hair. Among the dark-haired guys, I'd eliminate those with the lightest skin. If I ended up with a lighter-skinned AA guy and a darker-skinned Punjabi, I'd go for the Punjabi. And I'm AA.[/quote]
