But you do know that some people who have larger rings or spent more could also buy a house and pay it off at the same rate. Not trying to call you out, but you shouldn't feel like you have to justify your wedding/engagement ring. If they are what you want, that is all that matters. And you shouldnt assume those with more expensive rings did so at the expense of buying other stuff (like a house, etc)[/quote]
