It would bother me as well, especially if there is room for their car in front of their own home. I agree, park your car in the spot as much as possible for a couple of weeks- the neighbor will hopefully create a habit of parking somewhere else.
This comment and others like it is so PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE!. Just be an adult and speak politely to your neighbor about this. They may be completely oblivious that this is a problem or bother to you.
Nope, nice try. The parking in front of others house is passive aggressive. They are trying to deflect and make you the bad guy for speaking up. "Well, we've always parked there and never had a problem..." Yeah, that's because the prior owner was already looking for a new house the minute they saw your ugly face, loser. Really, what is wrong with people that they have to go out of their way to make a point? OP, its not you. My friend had a neighbor with a four car garage (shit house, mind you) that would do the same thing - anything to start trouble and act like it was the other guy. They poked and poked, but could not get to my friend. I think its because my friend had too much money to care, and the problem neighbor had no where else to go, they couldn't afford it. I like the idea of parking in your space in front of your house. I dare him to say anything. In fact, park all of your cars there. Put a camera there to record any scratches or damage he does to the car, for evidence. What an a-hole your neighbor is. Just like the other PP - who BTW, is far too nice.
