Demographics do define a school's reputation. Because of the large cohort of affluent and motivated students at W-L and of course Yorktown, families chose those schools over Wakefield. They are moving into Arlington in large part because of the solid reputation of the schools, especially in N Arlington. If W-L had a mediocre reputation outside of Arlington as you imply, the schools in that high school pyramid would not be filling up with new families who could easily afford private school. [/quote]
