I would like to believe that in these families there is a tradition of educational rigor and and an emphasis on academic achievement. As an Indian parent, I too have noticed that there is a very high proportion of Chinese, Korean, Indians, Europeans and Jewish students. This is true of most HGCs and magnets in MCPS.
