I've had a few partners - not many, but more than one and some were more talented than others - and it was pretty easy to tell even with the first whether he knew what he was doing and how he inspired me to embrace the moment. I later had a religious conversion and abstained for years, dated my husband and we waited til we were married - I think abstaining really helped me make a clearheaded decision about who to marry and our first few months married were mind-blowing - it was like the honeymoon lasted for months.
