Subject: Is sex with your SO the best you've had?
I've seen a couple of "best sex" is from a guy who was unsuitable for a long term relationship. That's not an accident -- the types of qualities that make a guy suitable for a long term relationship diminish their attractiveness as a sex partner.
Guys have a choice to make - be great at sex and resign yourself to doing it with a lot of different women or, be great at long term relationships and resign yourself to mediocre sex with the same woman for a long, long time.

Sex with DH is really good. He has learned what I like, does it eagerly, and makes me orgasm every single time.
But, we like different styles, and our sex is often a compromise of our preferences. I'm happy to do that because I want him to feel good too, and he meets me halfway.
But the "best sex ever" award goes to a prior boyfriend who was totally in sync with me. We loved the same things, and he totally blew my mind. I still daydream about him. He was totally unsuitable for a real relationship - much older, completely unreliable, couldn't trust him for anything - but the sex was incredible.

To the PPs bringing up the "good old days" when more people waited til they were married so they wouldn't know whether it could get any better - do you really think that there's no way some one with only one partner can tell whether or not the sex is good? If that's the case, then those who waited til marriage would have no reason to cheat, right? But they do. You don't have to have multiple partners to know whether or not the sex is satisfying.
I've had a few partners - not many, but more than one and some were more talented than others - and it was pretty easy to tell even with the first whether he knew what he was doing and how he inspired me to embrace the moment. I later had a religious conversion and abstained for years, dated my husband and we waited til we were married - I think abstaining really helped me make a clearheaded decision about who to marry and our first few months married were mind-blowing - it was like the honeymoon lasted for months. If I could go back in time, I'd definitely skip over the others and just wait til I was married. It's so much better that way.

No, but like others than said, as a partner, who he is as an entire person - he is the best match for me and that's why I married him. We've only been married a few years and it's been a busy few years at that - we still have a lot of exploring to do and I'm sure with time, we'll improve our ability to please each other. It's improved a lot in the last six months and I look forward to it picking up even more.
