I think it means if the person had known we'd have a black president one day, they would rather blacks not have been brought here as slaves in the first place.

This saying has been around for a long time. I first heard it about 25 years ago. It's humorous because those of us who have had to put up with people who have chips on their shoulders, and want everything handed to them because of "reparations," can relate. [/quote]
