Judaism has no single official statements to make about the afterlife. There are plenty of references throughout our texts, but there's no single answer we are supposed to believe. I know in a Christian context, this makes little sense, but it really isn't that important to the day to day of being a Jew. We are supposed to be good, to ourselves, each other and the planet.
