I don't agree. I LOVE her cooking, will continue to do so. I love southern food. Did she say something stupid in her lifetime? Yes! The "N" word was a gross thing to say. But I don't get how we can demonize her and say "we all agree" to calling her gross. FWIW, I agree with the shock and outrage PP. I *think* I know what you mean.... When someone seems so shocked an appalled that they just cannot fathom this instance- "certainly, not "I". Dear Lord, what has this world come to?" type language makes it all seems insincere and all too dramatic to be real. I'm sure it is, but the tone makes a difference. [/quote]
