We max out our 401ks, have close to $100K for college, have a year of safety net, and manage to shop at WF without stressing. I wonder what do people do with their money??? Our take home is over $10k monthly, and we spend 3k for tuition, 3k for mortgage PITI, leaving 4K for food and other goods. We don't have family money, either.[/quote]
